How to Invite Team Members

Overview

Use the Team page to invite new users to your organization's Kira Talent account.

This article explains how to:

  • Invite a single team member
  • Invite multiple team members using Bulk Invite
  • Resend an invitation

Before You Begin

Before sending an invitation:

  • You must have an Administrator role to invite team members.
  • Confirm the user's email address.
  • Determine which role the user should have.

Note: Inviting a user creates their account. Admins get access to every assessment by default and you can modify the assessment access for Staff or Reviewer accounts.

Invite a Single Team Member

Step 1: Open the Invite Workflow

  1. Navigate to Team.
  2. Select Invite.

Step 2: Enter User Information

  1. Enter the user's email address.
  2. Select the appropriate role:
  • Administrator
  • Staff
  • Reviewer

Tip: Select the three-dot menu beside Invite and choose Permission Overview to compare the permissions available for each role.

Step 3: Send the Invitation

  1. Review the information entered.
  2. Select Invite Teammate.

Each user will receive an invitation email with instructions to activate their account.

Note: Organizations using Single Sign-On (SSO) will not receive invitation emails. Users can access Kira Talent using your organization's sign-in process.

Invite Multiple Team Members (Bulk Invite)

Use Bulk Invite when onboarding multiple reviewers or staff members at the same time.

Step 1: Open Bulk Invite

  1. Navigate to Team.
  2. Select Invite.
  3. Select Bulk Invite.

Step 2: Enter Team Members

Choose one of the following methods:

Option 1: Enter Email Addresses Manually

  1. Select the appropriate role.
  2. Enter one or more email addresses.

Option 2: Upload a CSV File

  1. Select Upload.
  2. Select the appropriate role.
  3. Upload a CSV file containing team member email addresses.

CSV requirements:

  • One column containing email addresses.
  • Headers are optional.
  • Each row must contain a valid email address.

Note: All users uploaded in a single Bulk Invite must be assigned the same role.

Step 3: Send Invitations

  1. Review the email addresses and role selection.
  2. Select Invite {X} Teammates.

Each user will receive an email containing instructions to activate their account.

Note: Organizations using Single Sign-On (SSO) will not receive invitation emails. Users can access Kira Talent using your organization's sign-in process.

Resend an Invitation

If a user has not received or accepted their invitation:

  1. Navigate to Team.
  2. Locate the user.
  3. Select the three-dot menu for the team member.
  4. Select Resend Invite.

A new invitation email will be sent.

Troubleshooting

The User Did Not Receive Their Invitation Email

Ask the user to:

  • Check their spam or junk folder.
  • Confirm the email address is correct.

If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), access is provided through your organization's sign-in process and no invite email will be sent.

If the issue persists and re-sent invites are still not received, contact Kira Support.
