Settings

The Settings tab is where you can adjust assessment-wide fields. You will see a 'General' tab and an 'Integrations' tab in the sidebar navigation.

General

In the General tab, you can set the ‘Open’ and ‘Close’ dates for your assessment

The Open date is when your assessment will be available to your applicants. By default, it’s set to the assessment’s created date. If you’d like to invite your applicants to your assessment and prevent them from accessing the questions until a specific date and time, you can set it in the future.

The Close date is essentially your assessment’s deadline date. After the close date, applicants will no longer be able to complete the assessment. However, it will remain accessible for reviewing activities. Close dates are optional and do not need to be set in advance - feel free to just close your assessment once your admissions cycle is complete.

You can also choose to change your assessment’s visibility setting. When an assessment is ‘invite-only’, applicants will need a personal invitation email to access the assessment. When an assessment is ‘public’, anyone can be invited by sending them a generic assessment link. 

Note that if you want to be able to preview your assessment, you will need to toggle to “Public.” Just remember to toggle it back after you’re done!
