Horizontal Review via Modal: Bulk Assignment
Once you have opened the "Assign by Competency" modal and chosen Bulk Assignment, you will be taken to the following view.
Overview of modal
- Scroll down to see all available competencies for the assessment
- Select one or more reviewers for each competency.
- Select how many reviewers you would like to assess that competency for each applicants.
Note that you cannot have more reviewers per applicant than have been selected (i.e. if two reviewers have been selected for Competency 1, you cannot have 3 reviewers per applicant). You will need to select your reviewers before you set the number of reviewers per applicant.
Expected Behavior
If reviewers selected = reviewers per applicant, all reviewers assigned to that competency will review all applicants.
If reviewer selected > reviewers per applicant, reviewers will be evenly distributed among applicants. Each reviewer will not see every applicant.
If reviewers selected < reviewers per applicant, you will see an error and be prevented from moving on. Either assign more reviewers to the competency, or have fewer reviewers per applicant.
If you exit the modal without saving, you will see the following message.
Edits to individual assignments
Once bulk assignments are applied in the modal, you can further tweak any individual assignments back on the “Assign Reviewers to Competencies” modal on the Summary tab.
Summary tab
After completing your assignments, you will see the following summary.
Counts
- Number of applicants to be evaluated
- Number of competencies to be assessed
- Number of reviewers to be assigned
Lists
Applicants by Reviewer
This shows how many reviewers will see each applicant over all of the competencies.
Reviewers by Applicant
This shows how many applicants each reviewer will assess.
Unassigning Reviewers
Reviewers cannot be unassigned in bulk, but can be individually unassigned in the Assignments modal or on the Applicants page for the assessment. Note that once a reviewer has left scores for an applicant, they cannot be unassigned from that applicant unless the scores are deleted.
