Horizontal Review via CSV

Once you've opened the "Assign by Competency" modal, you can choose to create your horizontal review assignments via a pre-formatted CSV.

Requirements for CSV upload

For each applicant, you will enter their assigned reviewers in each competency column. If you would like multiple reviewers assigned per competency, you can separate them by a comma. Do not include a space after the comma.

You will also need to delete Column A before uploading.

How to address errors

  • No competency columns were found: headers may have been deleted in Row 1. Redownload the preformatted version and make sure that Row 1 remains unchanged.
  • [#] column headers are invalid: headers may have been changed in Row 1. Redownload the preformatted version and make sure that Row 1 remains unchanged.
  • [#] competencies were not found: headers may have been changed or deleted in Row 1. Redownload the preformatted version and make sure that Row 1 remains unchanged.
  • [#] applicant have reviewer assignment in one or more empty columns: ensure that there is no information entered in a column that does not have a competency name in the header.
  • [#] applicants were not found and have been skipped: this occurs when there are applicant names that have not been invited to this assessment.
  • [#] reviewers were not found and have been skipped: this occurs when reviewers are included that have not been invited to this assessment.
  • [#] reviewers don’t have permission to review and has been skipped: this occurs when reviewers are included that have not been invited to this assessment.
  • [#] applicants haven’t completed their responses: this occurs when an applicant has not finished their assessment.

Summary tab

Once you've completed your upload and confirmed your assignments, you will be taken to a summary tab.

Counts

  • Number of applicants to be evaluated
  • Number of competencies to be assessed
  • Number of reviewers to be assigned

Lists

Applicants by Reviewer

This shows how many reviewers will see each applicant over all of the competencies.

Reviewers by Applicant

This shows how many applicants each reviewer will assess.
